Stewardship Calendar
Create an annual stewardship calendar for a mid-size nonprofit:
Organization: [Youth mentoring program]
Donor segments:
- First-time donors (need to retain)
- Recurring monthly donors (need to appreciate)
- Annual donors ($100-$999, need to upgrade)
- Major donors ($1,000+, need to deepen)
- Lapsed donors (12+ months, need to re-engage)
For each segment, map 8-12 touchpoints across the year:
- Which month/week
- Communication type (thank you, impact update, invitation,
survey, special recognition)
- Channel (mail, email, phone, in-person)
- Who sends it (staff member, board member, student)
- Content theme
Rules:
- No more than 1 ask per 3 touchpoints (mostly stewardship)
