The SAMR model (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) provides a framework for evaluating whether technology adds value. Most "integration" lives at Substitution (digital worksheet instead of paper worksheet). The real power is at Modification and Redefinition — experiences that are impossible without technology.
