# Grant Management and Compliance
Federal grants fund everything from highway construction to public health programs to law enforcement equipment. In FY2024, the federal government distributed over $1 trillion in grants to state and local governments. But securing and managing these grants requires extensive paperwork — applications, budgets, performance reports, audit responses, and compliance documentation.
Grant Opportunity Identification
The first challenge is finding the right grants among thousands of opportunities:
