Before
Describe a challenging behavior you have observed in a classroom or other setting. Ask AI to help you hypothesize the function and design a BIP. Focus on the replacement behavior: is it truly easier and more rewarding than the problem behavior? If not, the plan will not work.
After
Effective BIPs address the function of the behavior — why the student is doing it — not just the behavior itself. A plan that only focuses on stopping a behavior without teaching a replacement will fail.
